Bombay Sapphire Gin Founded 1987 (though its recipe dates back to 1761). Why it’s unique: Bombay Sapphire is renowned for its beautiful blue bottle and its vapour infusion distillation process, where botanicals like juniper, lemon peel, and coriander seeds are suspended in a copper basket, allowing their subtle flavors to infuse the gin. Upcycled: The distinctive blue Bombay bottles have been repurposed into elegant chandeliers, and drinking glasses, adding a touch of sophistication to everyday objects.
Fun fact: Bombay Sapphire gets its name from the famous Star of Bombay, a large sapphire from Sri Lanka, reflecting the brand’s luxurious appeal and blue-hued bottle.
